Half Band Digital Filters - Andrew Bateman - Editor
Whenever I am giving a training course on DSP algorithms, I always enjoy talking about Half-band filters. The simple act of choosing your filter response to be symmetrical about ¼ of the sample rate and as a result almost halving the complexity of your filter is such a simple yet valuable thing to do.more>>
Time Stretching And Pitch Shifting of Audio Signals - Stephan Bernsee
As opposed to the process of pitch transposition achieved using a simple sample rate conversion, Pitch Shifting is a way to change the pitch of a signal without changing its length. In practical applications, this is usually achieved by changing the length of a sound using one of the methods described here and then performing a sample rate conversion to change the pitch.

How to interpret an eye diagram -
Charan Langton
The eye diagram is created by taking the time domain signal and overlapping the traces for a certain number of data symbols. If we are sampling at a rate of 10 samples per second and we want to take a look at two symbols, then we would cut the signal every 20 samples and overlap these. more>>
